Statement of Faith

  1. We believe in God the Creator and Preserver of all things, who created man, male and female, in His own image, and gave them dominion over the earthly creation.
  1. We believe in the deity and humanity of God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who being very God, also became man, being begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified dead and buried and then was raised from the dead and ascended to the Father.
  1. We believe in the deity and personhood of God the Holy Spirit, who convicts the individual sinner of sin, righteousness and judgment and gives the ability to understand the gospel leading to repentance. And that each believer, by the working of the Holy Spirit through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, has been born anew to an assurance of eternal salvation as a child of God.
  1. We believe in the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit not as a confirmation of salvation but as a form of ministry commissioned by Jesus as stated in Mark 16:17-18. “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 
  1. We believe that the trinity of God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit exist co-equally in unity.
  1. We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God and is infallible, as originally given, in all matters of faith and conduct.
  1. We believe that the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ was necessary to atone for the sinfulness and guilt of each person, who would otherwise be subject to God’s judgment and punishment.
  1. We believe that as members of Christ’s Body, we are to do the works of God, as revealed by the Holy Spirit and to share the good news of the Word to bring glory to God. 
  1. We believe that God created mankind as two distinct sexes: male and female and that each person affirms God’s infinite wisdom by living in alignment with their birth sex.
  1. We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime and is a sacred institution established by God.
  1. We believe that since mankind is created in God’s image, human life is of inestimable worth and significance in all its dimensions, and that human life starts from conception.
  1. We believe that Baptism is for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and is to be administered by immersion, thus bearing witness to the gospel of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection for us, and our own new life in Him.
  1. We believe in Christ’s imminent personal return in power and great glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion.

  2. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment.
