Bridal Crown Ministries exists to make ready the Bride of Christ, the church, for the eternal royal inheritance found in the love of Jesus by reaching the nations with the gospel of Christ.
Mission to Japan
Bridal Crown Ministries was founded in 2022 by a team of 3 people eager to see the Lord move in new ways in Japan. Around 2018, God started planting in our hearts a growing desire to see the people of Japan come to know the living Jesus. The Lord opened the door for us, David and Melissa Kuo, to move to Tokyo, Japan in August, 2024 as English teachers through the JET Program.
Why Japan?
Japan, consisting of around 125 million people, is a first-world nation with the world’s 3rd largest economy. And yet, only around 2.2% of the population is considered to be Christian.* Depression, loneliness, and suicide are significant issues among the Japanese. Shintoism and Buddhism are the primary religions although most would say they do not view themselves as religious. The need for the Gospel in Japan is enormous. We believe the transforming love of Jesus is the solution and the time for revival in Japan is now.

Where in Japan?
Both of us have been accepted into the JET Program which is an English teaching exchange program in Japan and we have been placed in Tokyo, Japan! We will specifically be teaching English in Adachi Ward of Tokyo, Japan at Adachi Public High Schools. Outside of our teaching jobs we will also be focusing on the ministry side through partnering with local believers in outreach and evangelism through in-person methods as well as through online digital methods.
Support the Mission
Since our cost-of-living is covered through our English teaching salaries, all funds given to support this mission will be directly utilized for ministry related expenses such as purchasing of Bibles, print and digital outreach materials, group hospitality expenses, language learning, etc. We would be honored to have your partnership with us in reaching Japan for Jesus.
